Options Menu Features
Line size

When you click on Line Size...it will bring up the dialog box that you see if if you double-click on the line tool from the tools palette.

This is another way to access the line tool dialog box where you can change thickness of a line made with the line tool.

Brush Shape
Clicking on Brush Shape will bring up the dialog box that gives you different brush styles, shapes, and thicknesses.

Grid

Clicking on Grid will bring up this dialog box that can display a grid on your card which can be used to position objects by inserting them or painting them on the card.

You can specify the spacing of the grid lines, dots, or crosses. The grid color can also be determined as well as what form the grid comes in.

These can be dots, crosses, or lines. If the Display grid box is checked, you will be able to see the grid on your card to position the objects or paint something on the card. Go back and uncheck this box when the grid is no longer needed. You may want to display the grid for something like math or science purposes that need a grid. This is what the grid may look like:

Draw Filled, Multiple, or Centered

Using these "draw" options will make any shapes you make with the rectangle, oval, or rounded rectangle tool paint the color or paint pattern in a solid color instead of just the border of the shape.

You can also double-click on this row of the paint tools of the tools palette and the shapes will be painted solid. Double-click on any of the 3 shapes on the row to make it where only a border will be painted, as in the image on the right.

If the shapes on the tools palette are gray in the center, the shapes will paint "solid>>>.

If the center of these tools is not gray, the shape will draw with only an outline >>>
Check Draw Multiple to create these shapes. The first one is centered and the last one is not centered when drawn.

If you check Draw Filled, the shape will paint a solid color or paint pattern. It will not matter if you have draw centered checked or not because the shape is created solid.

Using Draw Centered works best for an outline shape or drawing multiple shapes with "Draw Multiple".

These images are centered paint patterns or colors, solid or shape only...

Magnify
Go to Options>Magnify to have an area of the card background enlarged. Choose what percent you want to enlarge the shape or area.

The area will look like this when you magnify it, just click on the Browse tool or the Arrow tool to make the card go back to the normal view where it is not enlarged.

This area is enlarge or magnified 400%.

Set Eraser Color

TIP! Remember, if it is not the same color, go to Edit>Undo to take off the LAST thing you do. Once you have clicked anywhere else, it will not work.
Notice how the eraser color you choose will be the same on the colors palette. You can erase with the eraser tool or erase the entire background just like if you went to Edit>Erase Background.
Standard Colors
